Climate Rights International reported community allegations of deforestation, displacement and pollution around the Weda Bay industrial park, where Nickel has an Angel Nickel interest. The reporting addresses the wider park and surrounding mines, not an adjudication that Angel caused each alleged harm. Nickel’s written response, reproduced with the January 2024 report, described supplier screening, environmental plans, jobs and community programs.
