Management background checks
As of the 10 October 2026 evidence cutoff, the reconciled leadership team spans mine operations, development, finance, legal and people/culture roles. The strongest documented outcome evidence is Aurelia’s FY23 operating and financing reset during Andrew Graham’s Interim CEO period and audited FY26 KMP assessments for Martin Cummings and Graham. Those records mix strong cash/funding and gold outcomes with weaker safety, Peak-cost and schedule results. Dargues had a material site environmental event during Angus Wyllie’s GM tenure; regulator records name the subsidiary, not Wyllie personally. The offset trail shows progress but leaves final approval and credit issuance unresolved.

FY26 Board-assessed KMP scorecard
Aurelia’s audited FY26 remuneration report records a 75% business outcome and 130% individual outcome for Martin Cummings, producing a weighted STI outcome of 86% of target and an A$223,303 award (57% of maximum). The report’s common business scorecard gave no credit for TRIFR (7.54 against a <5.93 target), threshold credit for Peak controllable costs (A$339/t against A$309/t target) and Great Cobar schedule, stretch credit for gold production and the New Occidental maiden resource, and Board-adjusted base-metal assessment. The report does not disclose the individual criteria behind Cummings’s 130% score, so the Board rating is evidence of its assessment, not an independently verified personal delivery record.
Individual involvement documented · The audited remuneration report directly assigns the published individual and weighted STI scores to Cummings; it does not disclose the underlying individual scorecard measures.
Evidence gaps · 4
- The reviewed source set does not resolve Cummings’s finance remit after Badenhorst took office on 6 October 2026; company-secretary service is documented.
- Prior employer titles, tenure dates and performance outcomes remain incomplete where no dates were provided in the opened biographies; no personal causal attribution is inferred from company results.
- Credential and education claims are reported by issuer or secondary biography and were not independently checked with issuing institutions or professional bodies.
- Person-specific open-web searches are not exhaustive court, regulator, sanctions, safety, environmental or credential checks; a no-relevant-finding result is not a clearance.

Andrew Graham
Chief Development and Technical Officer
Interim CEO period: cash generation, financing and project reset
During Andrew Graham’s 19 November 2022–5 June 2023 Interim CEO term, Aurelia’s FY23 results reported that the December 2022 Organisational Renewal Program had returned all operations to cash generation, transitioned Peak to owner-operator mining, moved Hera to care and maintenance, optimised Federation and secured Trafigura financing plus an equity raise. Graham later publicly attributed these outcomes and the mine-plan reset to the leadership team over a seven-month period. The issuer’s results corroborate several outcomes but do not isolate Graham’s personal contribution. The turnaround was not an unqualified operating recovery: FY23 group gold output fell to 86.3 koz from 98.5 koz in FY22 and AISC rose to A$2,315/oz from A$1,707/oz.
Role overlaps event; causation unproven · Graham’s post is a self-attribution to the leadership team and the issuer’s annual results document company outcomes. No independent source apportions causal credit to him.
FY26 Board-assessed KMP scorecard
Aurelia’s audited FY26 remuneration report records a 75% business outcome and 100% individual outcome for Andrew Graham, producing a weighted STI outcome of 80% of target and an A$213,413 award (53% of maximum). The report does not disclose the individual criteria behind Graham’s score, so this is the Board’s assessment rather than independent proof of personal delivery.
Individual involvement documented · The audited remuneration report directly assigns the published individual and weighted STI scores to Graham; it does not disclose the underlying individual scorecard measures.

Angus Wyllie
General Manager, Cobar Region
Dargues biodiversity-offset delay and qualified follow-up
An August 2022 letter to NSW Planning, signed by then Dargues GM Angus Wyllie, requested six additional months to secure a biodiversity offset after the original end-August deadline could not be met. It cited uncertainty over the relevant plant community type, market availability, unsuitable properties and landholders declining to proceed. The 51st Dargues CCC minutes (meeting 27 March 2024) later say a BSA had been lodged with the DPE Biodiversity Credit Supply Taskforce and that the offset site was secured, with credits still subject to taskforce determination. Aurelia’s FY24 annual report subsequently says negotiations with NSW and a third-party landholder had progressed to establish Dargues offsite and onsite offsets. These records establish progress and a lodged agreement, but leave a status conflict and do not establish final BSA approval/registration or credit issuance/retirement by cutoff. The 2022 request is a compliance-timing issue; neither source establishes personal wrongdoing by Wyllie.
Role overlaps event; causation unproven · Wyllie signed the company request as GM; evidence supports role overlap and a reported compliance issue, not a finding of personal wrongdoing.
Dargues wastewater overflows and EPA undertaking during GM tenure
Two wastewater holding-tank overflows occurred at Dargues on 13 July and 18–19 July 2023 while Wyllie was General Manager of Dargues. The NSW EPA says the first overflow reached the mine sediment dam; in the second, more than 190,000 litres escaped and some entered Spring Creek. The EPA issued a clean-up notice and required operational changes; Big Island Mining Pty Ltd, Aurelia’s wholly owned subsidiary, entered a legally binding enforceable undertaking dated 12 July 2024 that includes a $125,000 community-project contribution and water-management/rehabilitation presentations. EPA reporting estimates 192.4 kL overflowed and says an unknown amount reached Spring Creek. Upper Deua Catchment Landcare’s June/July 2025 follow-up describes restoration funded by Aurelia under the undertaking; monitoring recorded about 133 plants killed by unusual frost and the group was considering replanting/protection options. The evidence establishes a site-level environmental incident and company-level regulatory response during Wyllie’s Dargues GM period, not his personal conduct or culpability.
Role overlaps event; causation unproven · Wyllie’s issuer biography places him as Dargues GM from June 2021 to June 2024, overlapping the events. The regulator names Big Island Mining, not Wyllie, as the undertaking party; no reviewed record attributes the valve failures or notification delay to him personally.
Evidence gaps · 5
- The Dargues offset follow-up is not fully resolved: March 2024 CCC minutes say a BSA was lodged and the site secured, while Aurelia’s FY24 annual report says negotiations were still progressing. The reviewed sources do not establish BSA registration/approval or credit issuance/retirement by cutoff.
- The wastewater undertaking is against Big Island Mining Pty Ltd, not Wyllie personally. Landcare documented remediation planting and monitoring, but its June/July 2025 status report leaves replanting/protection work under consideration; completion was not established.

Evidence gaps · 5
- The public profile lists University of the Witwatersrand attendance in 1987–1990 but no degree title; this self-reported education detail and prior-employer chronology have not been independently verified.
- Badenhorst had only four days in the Aurelia CEO role by the 10 October 2026 cutoff; the opened sources do not disclose a degree or professional credential, detailed prior-employer dates, or independently corroborated prior-employer outcomes.

- The Senior Executive MBA is reported by the issuer and was not verified with Melbourne Business School.
